My body reanimate, Called forth by Creator Here below my body quivers, And I lay forgotten, Wishing the day to end. But my heart languishes, As the little duties drag, My heart like sluices stuck, The river held back, No lake, No flowing, No water. How can the sun arise, In golden hues, When dust gathers, And dishes lay undone? Clutter piles... Forgotten communication. In the chair, Life is missed, Vitality is gone, Little laughters hidden. Can I but reach Your cloak? Feel only just the tassel? Like bread risen, Slowly doubles, Bubbles, Enlarges. Will it take more baking? Can I withstand the heat? Lying abed waiting for the driving force, No little rest to sustain and freshen. Wake to tire, Bed to tire, Monotony. Is the day ended by noon? One small ounce, Hands tied, Face fallen, Short on oxygen but still climbing Mt.Everest. One grain of yeast, One drop of water. I give you my best, Will you carry me abreast? One set of footprints in the sand. The waves come and they are gone. No trace. Yet a little whisper comes, Be gone you fatigue that troubles! Be gone you lethargic serpent! Align the cards, Will trump be played? No. Only a gift no more the bargain, A silent gentle breeze, The leaves rustle, The sun rises, Dawn, Golden colors mixed with rose, Prairie Grasses bend and flow, Wind. Like trees my limbs move, Unbroken, Will strength put down the tree? No, gentle do the roots dig deep, And find, Water. No more the dragging feet, Life meets me, And kisses me, Hugs me, Shapes me. I haven't forgotten the raging river, Dykes break, I'm free. Little caresses, Quick rushes, Hurried steps to outdo, And race along the bank, No more stopping, No more slacking, Just loving. Vitality. Joy, Water flowing well, Shimmers in the sunshine, And passes to the eventide, Leaves dropped to float, Gently falling more, I am not forgotten. Jeshua, breathe and beckon, Life within this dust, Leaving me a pathway, Moving rocks and barriers, Two sets of feet. You walk with me, And then I rest, Free.
